Summertime madness book tag!

Helllllooooo fellow book lovers,

It`s time for another post because it`s the weekend and I normally post on the weekend, due to my very chaotic scheduled. Hi to my new readers, my name is Franciska and I run this blog and today I have a book tag! This is my first book tag and even though it`s the end of summer where I live, I was tagged by Olivia at bibliomad and I didn`t want to give up the opportunity to do this tag before winter actually begins.

1) Show a book with a summary cover

Look how summery this book looks like, it makes me wish I was on holiday right now sitting in the sun with sun rays giving me a tingling feeling on my face. I have not yet read a Morgan Matson book but I would love to! I feel like I`m missing a lot from YA contemporaries I would love to read some more.

2) Pick one fictional place that would be the perfect destination for a Summer vacation!

Even though Hogwarts would be closed for the summer holidays, you can never go wrong with Hogwarts. Think of all the magic, spells, magical creatures and unicorns there will be.

3) YOU’RE ABOUT TO GO ON A FLIGHT TO YOUR SUMMER VACATION, BUT YOU WANT TO READ A BOOK THAT LASTS FOR THE WHOLE FLIGHT, WHAT NOVELLA DO YOU CHOOSE?

I think this is an obvious choice that many people will choose but this book is just something I need to read to find more about Celaena and how she came to be an assassin. This book has the novellas that takes place before Throne of Glass and I think that it`s suggested you should read this after you finish the first book, so this means that I need to read it right away, although I don`t think I`m ready for the heartbreak yet. It has also such a pretty cover with my favourite colours on it- blue and purple.

4. You have a case of Summertime Sadness. What happy book do you pick up to shine a smile on your face?

I think that many people will chose this book but there`s a reason for this. This book is such a cute contemporary that will pour your heart out and you will reading this book for endless days and nights. I haven`t read Lola and the Boy next door yet (the second/companion book) because I`m not sure if it`ll live up to Anna and the French kiss.

5. You’re sitting at the beach all alone…which fictional character would be your beach babe?

The answer for this will have to be Will Herondale. He is such a great person with a sense of humor and loves books as well and I ship him with Tessa so much! If you have not read this book you should read it RIGHT NOW! Or when you have the book. 🙂

6. To match your ice cream you want an icy cool sidekick! Which fictional sidekick do you pick?

For this book I would choose Rowan from Heir of Fire because he`s so strong and a little bit mysterious but when you get to know him I feel he would be very fun. I also can`t wait to find out more about him and the rest of the characters in Queen of Shadows which I shall read soon.

7. Share the Summertime Happiness! Who do you TAG?

I tag these amazing people:

Eva @ devouringfictions

Dee @ thebookishkhaleesi

Aria @ airareads

Ayesha and Monisah @ twinsturnpages

And I tag you!

Thank you for reading and I hope your have a great reading day! Franciska xxx

  1. Hey, I agree with a lot of your choices here and I have some advice about Anna and the French Kiss (which I totally would have chosen as well because that book makes me smile uncontrollably). So, I see that you’re unsure as to whether you should read Lola and The Boy Next Door, and while I didn’t particularly love it, I would still recommend you read it just so you can follow on to read Isla and the Happily After, which features St Clair’s best friend Josh and really brings closure to the whole series, as well as having a really cute story on its own 🙂

  2. You are so brave to pick The Assassin’s Blade to read on vacation, I feel like all of the feels I have would ruin my holiday with endless crying over Sam XD
