Book Haul

I feel like I haven`t been buying books lately, however I was completely wrong when I made a pile of the new books I owned. Therefore I thought it would be quite nice to make a book haul post and just to let you know, most of these books are blue (apart from one) and isn`t that strange? Well blue is my favourite colour and so I can`t really complain.

Anyway the books:

Glass Sword and The Sleeping Prince were two books that I was looking towards to. I really enjoyed The Sin Eater`s Daughter but it was left on a cliff hanger so I was obviously dying for the second book. As you might all know, I didn`t enjoy Red Queen but I had the urge to read the second book because sometimes the second book is better than the first, so I took the daring risk and I can say Glass Sword is much more better then Red Queen!

I was walking through a bookshop one day like any book lover out there and I found myself looking at the Harry Potter shelves. I looked at the books and I realised that I haven`t read The Tales of Beedle the Bard. Immediately I thought I needed to fixed this massive problem and I brought the book.

Carrying on in this Harry Potter theme Carry On was one of the books I was desperate to get my hands on and I was quite intrigues because I know that Rainbow Rowell tends to write contemporary books like Eleanor and Park (which is my favourite book) and so when I heard that she was writing a fantasy book I thought I would see what her writing would be like.

A few weeks ago there was a lot of hype on social media about Rebel of the Sands. From what I know this book is a fantasy book that is set in the desert. I`ve read a few pages and I`m exited to far and can we just take a moment to admire how beautiful this cover it!

I then brought Me before You mainly because the film is coming out soon and I always need to read the book before I see the film, All the Bright Places because I loved this book but I didn`t own it and I love owning books that I love and finally Second Chance Summer because I was feeling in the contemporary mood and I know that everyone who has read this book loves it!

Now those are all the books I have accumulated recently, tell me which one I should read first and have a lovely day.

Love Franciska xxx

  1. I’ve recently read both Carry On and Me Before You and I gave them both 5/5 stars, so I would (biased-ly) recommend you read those first! I also own a couple of the other books you picked up but i am yet to read them, so I look forward to hearing what you think 🙂
